What is 1010?

For Those Who Haven’t Read The Books

10:10 by Sarah Di Lorenzo was born out of my first ever book now called The 10:10 Plan published in 2021 by Simon & Schuster, this book is a foundation of my long term weight loss and weight maintenance principles.

The concept stems from the principle idea that readers could lose 10 kilos in around 10 weeks following a long-term food plan and my principles for healthy living and keeping a healthy weight for life.

To help readers on their journey we published The 10:10 Recipe Book in June 2022, followed by a Detox and Smoothie book called 10:10 Kickstart and a healthy recipe book for everyone called 10:10 Simple in 2023.

As the brand evolved so did the meaning behind the name. 10:10 can mean different things for different people – 10 out of 10 for achieving your personal goals, or 10 out of 10 because it works.

Many of my 10:10 meal plans recommend a snack such as a protein bar for convenience and we all love to have something in our day that feels like it could be a treat without all the sugar and guilt. I never found a bar on the market I really liked so after years of clients and readers asking me which protein bars they should buy I thought it was time to make my own. That way I know exactly what's in them and can happily recommend them to readers and followers.

And that’s where 10:10 by Sarah Di Lorenzo comes from. And yes of course my protein bars all have 10 grams of protein!
